Halo Wars at PAX
Last week the largest gaming convention in America wrapped up. I am of course talking about PAX. If you have never heard of the Penny Arcade chances are you might be living in a cave on the moon, although I am sure there might even be a few Luna bound Troglodyte’s that have heard of the comic. We are excited to be a part of this gaming conference.
It was a chance to get Halo Wars out in front of the people that will be playing it and the reaction was very positive.

Dave Pottinger - Talks Spartans
Our Lead Designer for Halo Wars, Dave Pottinger, sits down with us today to talk about a one of the key elements that makes Halo Wars so fun to play - The Spartans. Adapting the concepts that work in a first person shooters to a real time strategy game that does not feature the Master Chief is not an easy task.
However, Dave takes advantage of what most would consider a fatal flaw and uses the time period in which Halo Wars takes place to our advantage. This means that players have more than one Spartan in their arsenal. Check out the full diary.
The Leipzig Diaries - Day 2 and 3
A new day a new developer diary. Our fearless colleges roughed it for three days showing off Halo Wars to the fans and press in the city of Leipzig. This diary focuses on the last 2 days at the Leipzig conference as well as the night life around the city and good German bier.
The screenshots section of the website has also been updated with 3 new high resolution shots. Two of the screenshots show off the Covenant base and a third screenshot reveals an armored battle between the UNSC and Covenant forces.
